Wii Fit is the Newest way to Enjoy Exercise
Written by techwiiWii Fit as the name implies, it is mainly incorporating a competitive video game into a physical workout. Nintendo Wii has come up with a new way to enjoy exercise with the whole family. Clearly Nintendo had a brainstorm to come up with this great idea. Instead of developing a game console of hack and slash, or hardcore shooting games they are now into wellness. The only requirement after getting your very own Wii game console to play Wii Fit is the Wii Balance Board. It looks pretty much a bathroom scale but it can do a lot more than that.

The board can duplicate various workouts enhanced with the awesome graphics engine of the console. It can measure the user’s exact weight and uses pressure sensors to monitor the gamers balance putting the movement into the gaming screen. It is breaking records in the market as I speak of it. Almost all Wii owners are falling in line to get their hands on the Wii fit. This just an awesome way to have fun with the whole family and at the same time lose that love handles. We should expect more development on the Wii fit technology in the days to come.

Nintendo Wii and Grandma
Written by techwiiThere's no other gaming technology that transcends age factors. From 8 to 80 you can see them enjoying Wii more that any other game console can do. Nintendo was able to capture the wide demographic with Wii because of its sheer simplicity. It does not sport a faster processor like other two trailing console. It does not use a powerful graphic accelerator but it was able to capture the heart of gamers who wants to have fun without getting into the gizmodo world.
Wii is also used in therapy specially for those who are physically challenged. Our grandpas and grandpas are now able to enjoy a game that will make them physically active at the comfort of their beloved sofa. Pensioners as old as 103 have been reported to be playing the Wii in the United Kingdom. And kids can now play a video game that stimulates physical activity lessening the problem of obesity that is prevalent for kids nowadays.
In 2007, Wii sold more units than the other two powerful game console sales combined. Being the top game console which sold million units no wonder they could not keep up with the demand. Because of that Wii's supply is limited as it usually gone out of shelf at the leading toy stores. And so if you want to buy Wii at the comfort of your home, you can have it at www.bundlewiipod.com. You can find the best Wii here with the best deals on the net today.

Wii Anywhere
Written by techwiiThe Nintendo Wii is the latest video gaming console that Nintendo has released. The great thing about this console is that its controller design offers unique motion-sensitive gameplay options and has built-in Wi-Fi that delivers free online services and gameplay. It is also compatible with all the GameCube games and controller, so you don’t have to go out and buy new games, and it also has a built-in SD slot for storage and photo viewing.
The Nintendo Wii includes a Wii sports game and according to the market prices, it is also the most affordable home game console to date. When you buy yourself a Wii, everything that you are going to need to set the system up is included. The entire packaging has the Wii console, a wireless controller with nunchuk adapter, the sensor bar, a cradle so that you may mount your console vertically, a small power adapter and a set of composite A/V cables.
If you don’t like bulky consoles, then you would not have any problems with the Wii, since it is also considered the smallest and the lightest of the new generation of game consoles. Its exact dimensions are at 1.75 inches high by 6.25 inches wide by 8.5 inches deep, and that’s if you oriented it horizontally. As Nintendo promised before, it is the size of three DVD cases.

Nintendo Wii Will it claim Back the Crown?
Written by techwiiGame consoles have evolved from the 2D graphics to the real life looking 3D graphics. As usual the leading brands are off for the title for the best gaming system to date. Like the evolution of video games, fanatics have changed its perception on how games should be and how it should be played.
Nintendo Wii is the latest game console from the famous company who brought us the unforgettable Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Since then, they were not that successful in getting ahead of the competitors with their Nintendo 64, which only gained audience from die hard fans of the company. With the hope of getting back the title, Nintendo Wii is now tested against the Xbox 360 of Microsoft and the PS3 of Sony.
Wii is more focused on finding ways to make gaming more exciting by making new add-ons to the system. Aside from its joystick you can buy an exercise matt, baseball club and other items to add on to your gaming experience.
Like its predecessors, Nintendo Wii will share a good percentage of the customers but it is doubtful to win the competition at this early stage. Only time can tell what the company can come up with to finally win the unending battle of the consoles.

Nintendo Wii: The Origins
Written by techwiiThe Nintendo Wii is the fifth video gaming console that Nintendo released. It has a wireless controller that can be used as a handheld pointing device and can detect acceleration and orientation in three dimensions. The Wii also features WiiConnect24, which enables users to receive messages and updates through the Internet while in stand-by mode. Although the Wii is more known as Nintendo Wii, the console’s name is simply just Wii, which is meant to be pronounced as ‘we’ to emphasize that the gaming console is good enough for everybody, and is spelled with two i’s to resemble two persons standing next to each other.
The Wii was originally named Revolution, but the makers thought that the old name was too long and was hard to pronounce and they wanted something short and to the point, and that’s how the name ‘Wii’ was conceptualized.
The Wii may have won several awards, but that doesn’t mean that it’s safe from users’ criticizing reviews. If you are a user, you would want whatever you are using to be as convenient as possible. Even though the wireless remote is cool to the ordinary mind, it’s not as cool when you learn that you have to replace the batteries every now and then like all the other remote controllers in your house. And unlike the other gaming consoles, the Wii can’t play CDs and DVDs.
Even though the Wii is not as graphically powerful as the other consoles, its combination of unique controllers and fun gameplay make the affordable console very hard to resist. And to shop for the Wii with the best prices you can find, go here at BundleWiiPod.com

Wii History
Written by techwiiHistory
The console was conceived in the year 2001, as the Nintendo Game Cube was first released. According to Nintendo's game designer Shigeru Miyamoto, in an interview, the concept involved was focusing on a new ways of player interactivity. They have agreed that the processing power is not everything for a game console. There just can't be too many powerful game console at a time. It's like having only ferocious prehistoric dinosaurs. The competition will be fierce and that would hasten their own extinction."
Two years gone by, designers and engineers were assembled together to further develop the new game console concept. In the year 2005, the controller interface had taken form, but a public exhibition at that year's expo was not made. Miyamoto explained that they still have to do some troubleshooting. So, they decided not to reveal the controller and instead only displayed the game console. Nintendo president Satoru Iwata later presented and demonstrated the Wii Remote at the September Tokyo Game Show.
The Nintendo DS is said to have influenced the Wii design. Designer Ken'ichiro Ashida noted, we had the DS as a reference while working on the Wii. We thought about cloning the DS's touch-screen panel interface and even came up with a prototype. The idea was eventually discarded. Miyamoto also expressed that, if the DS had not succeeded, we might have taken the Wii back to the drawing board.
Name
The console was known earlier by the code name of "Revolution" until April 27, 2006, immediately prior to E3. Nintendo Style Guide put it that the name is simply Wii and not Nintendo Wii. This means that it is the first home console Nintendo is selling outside of Japan without the company trademark name. While "Wiis" is a commonly used pluralization of the console, Nintendo has reiterated that the official plural form is "Wii game systems" or "Wii game consoles." Nintendo spells "Wii" with two lower case letter "i" meant to represent players gathering together, likewise representing two people standing side by side, as well as to represent the game console's non-conventional controllers. "Live with it, Sleep with it, Eat with it, Move along with it" has become the Wii's mantra.
